Fixed the modem, and went wireless disabled the ethernet through BIOS and thats when this problem started. Q: Will Microsoft remove Windows XP Mode support in Windows 7 as of April 8, 2014 via a patch or update? Not sure if this is a permanent fix or only for 30 days.

I have seen all the post about resetting the 30 day limit and all the ways to do it. A client dropped his netbook on the floor and had a cracked screen and a bad HDD. If it still does not work I suppose I should try starting over with my original image of the drive as it came to me.

I have an issue trying to get passed the userid screen. I type in my user and password and windows xp pro gives me a window asking if I want to activate windows xp. If I click yes, it logs me off. If I click no, it logs me off. I can only get into safe mode. Has anyone had this issue before and what did you do to solve it? Laffinggirl, Thank you for contacting the forums. NOTE: The data collected with the Genuine Diagnostics Tool does NOT contain any information that can personally identify you and can be fully reviewed, by you, before being posted. Also, have you been able to login on the system you are experiencing issues with before? What was done to the machine prior to your login attempt? We look forward to hearing from you again soon. Respectfully, Rick, MS Thank you for all of the replies, sadly none of these suggestions have worked. By the way, the OS did come preinstalled from the maker this pc has worked fine for the last 5 years btw. Also, I have tried deleting wpa. Also tried the from cmd.
